AviaGames’ Wonderland Wishes Named Shorty Awards Finalist

AviaGames has announced that its Wonderland Wishes campaign has been selected as a finalist in the 2026 Shorty Awards under the Video Series category, a program known for recognizing standout work in digital storytelling and brand campaigns.

Now in its 18th year, the Shorty Awards has previously recognized companies such as Disney, Spotify, and YouTube. Being included among these names reflects the broader impact of the campaign.

Wonderland Wishes was created with the idea that gameplay can contribute to something meaningful. Through Solitaire Clash, players earned Wish Stars during tournaments and events, which were later converted into real-world donations. These contributions supported Foster Love, a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of children in foster care.

Over five weeks, players generated more than 691 million Wish Stars, resulting in a $136,000 donation. The campaign also partnered with creator Leo Gonzalez, whose advocacy work helped bring authenticity and visibility to the initiative.

Production included the Solitaire Without the Solitude series, filmed in Colombia within a short timeline, along with a livestream and a final in-person event in Los Angeles, where participants assembled care packages and bikes.

The campaign also featured the Beyond the Game series, highlighting real community stories such as Laura’s journey.

This recognition, along with a Digiday Video & TV Awards nomination, reflects both the creative work and the community involvement behind Wonderland Wishes.
